Founders’ Day Isn’t Far Away!

PrintApril will be here before you know it, and that means it’s almost time to celebrate Founders’ Day! Tentatively scheduled for the weekend of April 18th, the weekend will be full of events – from the Bi-Annual Spring 2015 Meeting (don’t forget – we’ll be holding elections for new officers!) to the Saturday evening Social to the Sunday afternoon Scarlet vs. Blue softball game, it’s lining up to be a great weekend of food, fun, and festivities!

As plans for the weekend are finalized, announcements will be made – but start making plans now to attend – you don’t want to miss out on all the fun!

Delta Zeta Gears Up to Welcome New Members!

The DZ Chapter had a successful Rush Week last week – between the meet ‘n greet, the bbq/picnic, and the late night of snacks at the house, the Chapter met with a number of potential new members. Rush Chi Phi

“Pretty successful so far,” said Chapter Alpha, Brother Corey Irby. “But it’s not over yet!” While the Chapter recognizes some area of Rush that they are already planning for improvement in the Fall, they are confident that they will be able to welcome at least four new members into the Fraternity.

The Bid Rally is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, January 28, 2015, and the DZAA looks forward to watching the Chapter grow!

Congratulations, Graduate!

The DZAA would like to recognize and extend our most heart-felt congratulations to our Association’s President and fellow Alumnus, Brother David Ebner, who graduated this month with his Master’s Degree from the University of Tampa. Brother Ebner obtained his MFA in Creative Writing, and he plans to pursue a career teaching Creative Writing (and quite possibly go on to get his PhD!).
