30th Anniversary Celebration! Don’t Miss Out!

Thirty years and counting!  Yes, that’s right, it’s been more than 30 years now since the Delta Zeta Chapter of the Chi Phi Fraternity was established at USF, and this weekend, we are celebrating this anniversary!

Friday night, April 11th – 7:00 p.m.
Happy Hour at The Pub, located at 2223 North West Shore Boulevard, Tampa, Florida

Saturday afternoon, April 12th – 11:00 a.m.
Bi-Annual General Meeting of the DZAA in Room 3713 of the USF Marshall Center, Tampa, Florida

Saturday evening, April 12th – 6:00 p.m.
Founder’s Day Reception at The Club House of the Rocky Point Golf Course, 4151 Dana Shores Drive, Tampa, Florida

Sunday morning, April 13th – 10:30 a.m.
Scarlet vs. Blue / Actives vs. Alumni Classic Softball Game and Picnic at the USF Riverfront Park, Tampa, Florida (to include the first Rent-A-Chi fundraiser event to help raise money for the Housing Fund)

You’re not going to want to miss a single moment of this 30th anniversary weekend celebration.  Come out and catch up with your Brothers, see friends you haven’t seen in years and meet some new ones.  This kind of anniversary only comes around once every thirty years, so don’t miss out!

Alumni New – Agenda for Spring Meeting

Just a reminder – the bi-annual General Meeting of the Delta Zeta Alumni Association will be held in Room 3713 at the USF Marshal Student Center at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 12th. The agenda for the meeting is as follows:

  1. President’s Report
  2. Vice-President’s Report
  3. Secretary’s Report
  4. Treasurer’s Report
  5. Technology Chairman’s Report
  6. Chapter Advisor’s Report
  7. Old Business
  8. New Business, to include:
    1. Vote on whether to change the fiscal year to July 1 – June 30
    2. Vote on the addition of two DZAA Board Members (Technology Chairman and Archivist)
  9. Announcements, to include the induction of new Alumni
  10. Adjournment

All Alumni who have paid their dues will be eligible to vote on issues at the meeting.  The meeting is anticipated to last approximately one hour, and immediately following the meeting, all are invited to join us for lunch at Beef O’Brady’s.

So come out and take an active part in the DZAA, as we take the Association to bigger and better things in 2014!

Alumni News – Spring Meeting is Here!

It’s hard to believe it’s already been a year since the new Officers were installed and new life was breathed into the DZAA, but it’s that time of year again!  The bi-annual General Meeting of the Delta Zeta Alumni Association will be held:

USF Marshal Student Center, Room TBA
Saturday, April 12th at 11:00 AM

The meeting will include reports from the DZAA Officers, as well as a discussion on plans for the upcoming year.  All Alumni who have paid their dues will be eligible to vote on issues at the meeting.  This is your opportunity to have a say in what is happening in YOUR Alumni Association.

The meeting is anticipated to last approximately one hour, and immediately following the meeting, all are invited to join us for lunch at Beef O’Brady’s.
