The Alumni Directory is Coming!

How would you like to get in contact with Chip Woodward? Do you know what Todd Yontek is doing these days? Want to send Steve Hisaw an e-mail? Want a plumber who’s a fellow DZ Brother? Or maybe you need an accountant to take care of your taxes? Well, guess what – that information is coming your way! The DZAA is putting together an Alumni Directory that will put you in touch with all of your old friends (and some not-so-old friends, as well!) in the Delta Zeta Alumni Association.

Of course, the only way you’ll be able to get this information is to share this information! The DZAA is asking that, if you haven’t already, contact us and provide us with your current contact information – address, telephone number, e-mail, as well as your current occupation. This will allow us to put together a complete, and fully updated, Alumni Directory that will only be shared with alumni of Delta Zeta. This will allow you to reach out to Brothers you haven’t heard from or seen in a while, and at the same time, will allow some great business contacts for any need that may arise – and help keep it all in the DZ family!

We would like to have the directory completed by the end of 2014, so we are asking each and every one of you to contact the DZAA at dzaa1983@gmail.com to provide your updated information – and be on the lookout, as we also will be reaching out to you if we haven’t heard from you.

Just one more way we’re bringing the DZAA closer together!

Delta Zeta – Fall 2014 Rush Week!

Okay, Alumni, it’s that time again – time to support our Active Chapter as they get ready to enter Rush Week for the Fall 2014 semester. The Actives have some great activities planned, and if you are in, or are planning to be in, the Tampa area over the next week, it would definitely be a great show of support if you could participate in some of the activities.

The Actives would love to have the Alumni show up at any/all of the events – but the most important one is the “MEET THE ALUMNI” night on Wednesday evening, September 10th. This is an opportunity for prospective new members to meet not only the current Actives in the Chapter, but to meet the Alumni and see and hear just how Chi Phi has impacted their lives.
Let’s step up and help the Actives during their Fall 2014 Rush Week – make plans now to attend any and all events that you can!

One Year Later…

Can you believe it has already been one year since the DZAA website got up and running? On August 11, 2013, our DZAA President, Brother David Ebner, posted the very first website article, inviting all of the Alumni to participate in the DZAA’s first USF/Chi Phi Scholarship Scramble. And now, here we are, exactly one year and 150 website postings later, and we’re still going strong!

Just a reminder that this website is all about YOU! We’re here to provide articles and postings that keep you informed, not just of what’s going on with the Alumni Association, but also with news about the Chapter, about other Chapters in Florida, about National news, about local USF news, and basically anything that would be of noteworthy interest to YOU!

So please remember to share your feedback – let the Exec Board for the DZAA know exactly what you like seeing, what you don’t want to see, and what you’ve haven’t seen yet that you do want to see. And if you’ve got something to share, please feel free to do so – this is YOUR website!
