It’s Time to Pay Up

For those who attended the 30th(ish) Anniversary celebration of the Delta Zeta Chapter of Chi Phi, you may recall that you made a pledge and signed up as a regular donor for the re-established Orders Account. All monies pledged and collected into the Orders Account will go towards the ultimate purchase and maintenance of a house for the Delta Zeta Chapter – a house for the Active Brothers to live in and a house that the Alumni will be able to utilize for meetings, for visits, etc.

Well, the time has come to start those payments. Some, if not all, of you who signed up and made pledges have already received invoices for your first monthly payments. If you haven’t received one yet, rest assured – you will receive on soon. The Board determined that this would be the most expedient and convenient way to remind the Alumni of their pledge and to make it easy for each Alumni to select their own means of payment (whether by check, by debit, or by credit) and will provide the DZAA an easier means of tracking all payments made and ensuring proper credit for the Alumni who donate.

Each and every payment made will become a part of Delta Zeta history, as you’ll be ensuring that future generations of DZ Brothers will have a stable Fraternity environment and providing a never-ending legacy to Delta Zeta. So be a part of history and make your payment as soon as you receive your invoice. The sooner the goal is reached, the sooner Delta Zeta will have its House!

What Did Your Chi Do For You?

DSCN3879For those Alumni who attended the annual Scarlet vs Blue softball game last month, you no doubt remember that during the picnic afterwards, we hosted the first ever Rent-A-Chi Fundraiser as a means to raise money for the Housing Fund. It’s been a month now, and so the question has been raised – what did your Chi do for you?

Did he wash your car?
Did he fix your computer?
Did he clean out your garage?

The Exec Board is looking for feedback from those of you who participated and actually won an auction that day – and just in case you’ve forgotten, here are the winning bidders:

Philip Gilroy won DAVID EBNER
Joshua Cleveland won PHILIP GILROY
Clinton Millsap won KYLLAN PURDON
Paul Michael Acosta won PAUL MICHAEL ACOSTA
Chip Woodward won TODD LATOSKI
Arianna Muniz won BLAISE LEVAI
Todd Latoski won CLINTON MILSAP
Melody Bernstein won ALEX WATTS
Alex Watts won NATHAN DRASS
Clinton Millsap won QUINCY BANIS

Share your DSCN3877stories of what you had your Chi do for you – and share pictures too, so that we can post them on the website for all of the Alumni to see!   All monies raised by the auction went directly into the Housing Fund, and in order to gauge its true success, we need to hear from you!

All stories and photos can be e-mailed to dzaa@gmail.com.
