An Active Semester for Delta Zeta

As the Fall 2014 Semester comes to a close, the Delta Zeta Chapter can look back over the past few months and admit that they did not sit still!

The young men of Delta Zeta participated in Chi Omega’s philanthropy, the “Chi O Rodeo 2014,” and while they didn’t quite make first place (hey, they placed second, which is still a pretty good place to be!), they had a great time and helped the Chi O’s raise some money!

Chi Phi Football

The Chapter was also involved with the Greek sports, playing some great games of flag football, where they managed to walk away with quite a few wins, showing off their athletic skills, as well as great sportsmanship.

Of course, the boys had a lot of fun with the “Murder Mystery” social they shared with the young ladies of Chi Omega and the gentlemen of Sigma Pi. Whodunnit? Well, the answer to that mystery is one only the boys know…

Semi Formal

Finally, it was all suits and ties for the Chi Phi Semi Formal in November, as the men dressed up and brought their dates for a wonderful dinner of Italian food and great company.

And while the Fall 2014 Semester may be reaching its end, the Delta Zeta Chapter is already looking ahead to the Spring 2015 Semester and the great things it will bring!

Holiday Party and Secret Santa!

It’s time for the DZAA Holiday Party and Secret Santa!

holiday-party

This year’s holiday event will be held at the house of Brother Clinton Millsap, and we will be sharing a pot luck dinner. A Facebook page has been set up for the event, and we are asking that if you plan to attend the party, please list in the comments of the FB page what you plan to bring.

Also, for those who want to participate in the Secret Santa gift exchange, send a message or e-mail to Brother Kyllan Purdon, who will be organizing the exchange, with your beverage of choice. Please be sure to respond no later than Monday, December 8th. You must be present at the event to participate. The maximum dollar amount will be $35, give or take.

Please do not RSVP that you are attending unless you will definitely be there. We are using the FB page to get an idea of how many people to expect. Of course, as always, spouses and significant others are welcome to come!

For more information and to RSVP, check out the FB page at https://www.facebook.com/events/1527298047524121/?notif_t=plan_user_invited

We look forward to seeing you there!

The Holidays are Coming!

The holiday season is nearly upon us, and that means it’s time for the annual DZAA Christmas Party! Time to deck the halls and celebrate Chi Phi-style!

Deck-the-Halls

The DZAA is currently seeking an Alumnus who is willing to host the Christmas Party this year. If you live in the Tampa area and are willing to open your home to your fellow Brothers, please contact Brother David Ebner via e-mail, Facebook, or telephone so the arrangements can be made.

And for everyone looking forward to attending the Christmas party this year, the date, time, and location will be announced soon so you can start making plans!
