Three USF students – Ryne Giddins, DeDe Lattimore, and Tevin Mims – signed as unrestricted free agents following the conclusion of the 2014 NFL Draft.
Giddins, who recorded 118 tackles and 19.5 sacks in his career at USF as a defensive end, signed with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Saturday night. The native of Seffner, Florida earned first-team All-Big East honors as a junior in 2012.
Lattimore (Athens, Ga.) signed with the Chicago Bears. A second-team American Athletic All-Conference linebacker and USF team MVP last season, Lattimore led the Bulls with 98 tackles as a senior.
Mims (Round Rock, Texas) signed with the Miami Dolphins. The USF Defensive MVP last season, Mims finished fifth on the team with 40 tackles and totaled 75 in his two years with the Bulls.
